To hurl or not to hurl, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in this street to suffer
The slings and arrowes of outraged passers-by,
Or to make haste for that hedge,
And by doing so, avoid them? My eye!
To chorkle no more in public gaze? To say I will end
The partaking of pavement pizza-making in shop doorways?
A Saturday night trend that is heyre, and heyre to stay? 'Tis a situation
Devoutly not to be wish'd. Heecccccchhluuuugg !!! Now;
To sneak, perchance, one last swift half; Ay, there's a pub!

Saturday night Soliloquy
You don't see much of this sort of thing on here - possibly because it is harder than it looks. Kudos, therefore, for being both pertinent and amusing. This and your previous offering 'Thoughts on Youth Crime' make a sort of oblique diptych... I do hope the goldfish survives it all.

Shakespeare's DRUNK!
You are simply too damn clever!

This is hilarious!!! I think if Shakespeare were alive today he'd say something like..."to drink or not to drink... ohhh, what light trough yonder window breaks?....it's a freakin pub!!!, come on Colin let's go get a drink!"
