Save me please
Look at me
Look at the mess
I’ve wound around me

Save me please
Before it’s too late
Save me from myself
And my impenetrable hate

Save me please
Take the hurt away
Stop me from doing
What I’m doing to me

Save me please
Make me see
That nothing’s worth doing
What I’m doing to me

impenetrable hate
Always wondered why people ask to be saved in poetry? Wouldn't acknowledging the need to be saved from misery make one realize they've already taken the first step?

Of course, having stated that, I've done the same thing...

Your words can save you like nothing else can.
