Death…..
A natural end,
To life.

Bliss…..
A blessed moment,
An unspoken promise,
Of something better.

A readied,
Willingness,
To die.

Nothing to gain,
Nothing to lose.

No more,
Paychecks to receive,
No more bills,
To pay.

No plans.

No obligations.

Nothing required.

Everything,
Having taken,
Its place.

No more,
Hellos.

No more,
Goodbyes.

Relationships resolved,
An apology,
Forgiveness,
A final embrace,
Thanking a loved one,
For being there,
At one’s side.

All things human,
Having come,
To an end.

No temptations,
To tarnish,
The Spirit,
Of man.

No mornings,
The sun,
Shrouded by,
The darkness,
Of time.

No evenings,
Nightfall,
Tamed by,
The light,
Of day.

The sweet,
Sorrows of life,
Bound,
By meaning.

The sweat,
Of blood,
Poured out,
For those,
Who thirst.

Sacraments,
Rescued,
From the past.

Treasures,
Stored,
On High.

Time having,
Ceased.

Mortality having,
Come to an end.

Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Letting go,
Of everything,
For one last time.

Just one,
Sweet breath away,
From the,
Loving arms,
Of an eternal God.

this progresses
like irrefutable math, the sums of subtraction, gradually deducting the cares and concerns of living until only love and the infinite remains… like the way it progresses, logical, irrevocable, I suppose it’s because that’s where we’re all headed… only thing we disagree on is what happens next. thanks for this.

NOW THAT....
...is what I STRIVE for!

ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY, with out a doubt up there in the top three most prolific reads I've experienced! I mean every word.

Ran upon this while listening Moonlight Sonata Mvt.1. A piece of art I've heard at least a thousand, if not more, times...yet once in a while Beethoven's beauty meets the synchronized beauty of the pen. This most definitely is one of those times.

"...No evenings,
Nightfall,
Tamed by,
The light,
Of day..."

More often than not are the nights precisely that...tamed by the day.

"...The sweet,
Sorrows of life,
Bound,
By meaning..."

The time WILL come when all becomes clear.

Thank you Mr. Soderstrom.

with much respect...

Tammy
