A temperate stance,
A lifetime to yield
Before atrocious

Cold neutrality beating paths
Toward heaven’s gate
Cutting grounds
Exploring sacred realms…

What do we gain under this sun?

Crude rhetoric and shifty eyes
A fragmented sense of self

The ART of Discernment....(a unique gift among the masses)
Really? Hmmm? Interesting thoughts and poem. I believe that exploring sacred realms is a natural part of our soul-nature, and those who have truly experienced those realms have a difficult time explaining in words what there are no words for within our limited physicalities and thinking. Thanks for sharing this. Namaste and blessings to you and yours!

Here is a photo of me and my love, Joseph, wishing you a joyful summer! This pic was taken this July 4th 2008, we are both smugly smiling because we had a great day and public fireworks display with fantastic front row seats on private lake front fishing dock deck...oh yeah! Hope you had a good July 4th, and please continue sharing your awesome poetry here on the Lit.Org. Your work is among my favorites list.

"What do we gain under this sun? "
that'd have made a good title for this piece too...

it reminds me of those who attempt to synthesise answers from accumulation facts, only to arrive at inventing more sophisticated questions, having utterly failed to establish that a fact is not the same as a truth… we’re all guilty of that, I think, it’s the human condition…

good to read you again, you never fail to open eyes, inwardly and outwardly.
