In a land with boundless will
while I'm sleeping, silent and still.
My mind gets lost in false reality memory
recall things I wish could be,
In my sanctuary where I dream my fill.

In my sleep, my nightly rest
a wonderful state, my mind's best.
I journey to see loves of my past
Only here is where apology forecasts,
Only here is where my mind could last.

Here's the place I can be myself,
rightly live my life in fantasy itself.
Only sleep to escape the day,
Only in dreams do I let truth lay
In my sanctuary I will meet death herself.

In my dreams, I live a life to good to live,
A life so few could give.
And in my dreams I waste away,
Til' I'm old and bitter, and want to stay.
Only then the dreams I dreampt will take me away.

------
The most fantasical truth of all: There is no meaning to any of this.

Young Poets
I agree with Desvelado-it really is great to see someone as young as you writing poetry so eloquently. Keep it up; I can tell that writing is part of you.

Thank you
Thank you both for your comments, I am sorry I took so long to reply, I've been kinda busy.

Desvelado, When I wrote this, the line "false reality memory" was suppose to have memory on the next line, ("Memory recalls things I wish could be")
I consider death a part of nature, and from the term "mother nature" I take the female aspect.

More than just dreams!
Amazing the levels of existence we experience while sleeping. I once had a three part dream. It lasted,(obviously), three nights in a row. What began on the first night started the second and the second started the third. In my dream I had a life that I've never known before. I, along with someone that I knew but did not recognize in my dream, passed by this house that shocked me for some reason. I demanded that my friend stop the car and I just walked slowly up the sidewalk staring thinking to myself, "I've been here before." And that's it! Yea I'm a weirdo!

I truly believe, based on my own experiences, that dreams are FAR more meaningful than we humans have the ability to understand. I look for any info on how others view their dreams.

We are always more in our dreams than we are in reality...NOT!!! I believe that your "...life to your capable of. "Someone's" trying to make certain you remember that.

Really, really enjoyed this.

AND....I finally get to say to someone else....WELCOME TO LIT! YEAAAAAAAA!!!!
