Their story comes to life on my flesh,

The story of two souls creating one image.

This tattoo pierces skin deep and into my blood.

The needle did not hurt, as it pierced my skin with love

It is neither here nor there, and stretches infinitely
across my life revealing their influence.

Its imprint seeps down below into my inner essence

This tattoo tells of who I am, and where I am from

It is forever fresh upon my skin, and does not heal

The artists drew themselves on me, and took great care

Their devotion and love for their art clearly visible

They poured bits of their own souls in the needles, for
better and worse.

They did not flinch, nor did they make any mistakes

Their creations live as a part of me forevermore

Across my skin, into my heart, and resting in my soul

This tattoo tells the story of love and creation

This tattoo will not peel after three or four days,
that I am sure of.

This ink is permanently set for all eternity

The story is waiting to be finished, the needle now in my hands.
