He dropped - more sullenly than wearily,
Slumped stupid like a cod, heavy like meat,
And no one close could kick him to his feet;
"This is the Lords" he murmured dreamily.
- Didn't appear to know he had to speak
For his ailing party - he just stared;
"I'll do him in" whined one, "if this Bill's spared,
I'll murder him, I will."
