Harvest and Teilhard Visionary Letter
Dear Team:
Harvest of Gems and Forty Immutable Parables is about building a bridge between the physical world and the psychic one. The deeper I go into Teilard de Chardin's vision the more the meaning of my work unfolds in a very exciting way. My life is a vast noospheric process. The more complexity there is in evolution, the more consciousness there is to this growing complexity. All exterior and interior worlds thus grow together.
Intense physical and psychic competition in a closed space always generates a pressure that leads to big evolutionary leaps. All is truly alive and linked. The economic and psychological pressure of the second and third waves has now led to the evolution of the noosphere. Yes, the global mind that is emerging on planet earth. From simple matter to complex social groupings changed biological states between a series of moving balances has led to the current evolutionary environment on earth.
Groups of living and thinking things are always greater than the individuals in these groups. Harvest of Gems explores the dense and complex vortices on planet earth. It shows how psychic evolution is a groping kind of process towards some kind of directed change. Wherever there is psychic density like in China, Japan, India, Israel/Palestine and other parts of the world there is more psychic potential for creative cultural evolution simply because there are more human vessels of reflective thought in these places.
This is a counter-intuitive insight, but when it is fully grasped finally human indifference is then quickly transformed into immense concern as consciousness speedily increases. There is a global unity that embraces a new and growing variety and competiton . There is thus more complexity and more underlying unity waiting to be discovered along with the expanded consciousness to understand and embrace this complexity and unity. Harvest of Gems explores both the individual and global freedoms and anxieties that are produced by this bold evolutionary process and then treats it as a spiritual phenomena worthy of scientific observation and religious pilgrimage.
The current terrorism the planet is suffering was born from the compexity and stress of the emerging global mind and paradoxically it is now also contributing to the necessary tension that will lead to the next evolutionary leap towards greater global creativity and reconciliation. This will also come much sooner than most people think. The Kathmandhu chapter of Forty Immutable Parables describes in vivid detail the psychic crush and religious fusion that's creating this newly emerging noosphere.
Life arranges itself into orders and natural bundles called phyla. Thus there is a constant sprouting and branching off of new living species. Harvest explores this wild phyla and much, much more. The buds that sprout into new species become COLLECTIVE psychic realities....
The Palestinians and Israelis are all moving towards a higher unity as they embrace themselves in an accelerating circle of violence. The translation and American publishing teams are such buds and where their sprouts branch off to will be terribly interesting. The Polish seminar idea was a shift in the wind. Any psychic collective reality is elastic and has duration and movement. Each bud has a life cycle with fast growth at the start and slow maturation at the finish. Both the American publishing and foreign translation teams have now reached a certain level of maturity. The next teams are now ready for launching. The money and promotion teams needed both in America and abroad.
Harvest and Forty Immutable Parables are Teilhardian tracts which explore multiple levels of sentient life even as they hurl haphazardly towards a vision of a higher psychic unity. In the evolutionary process each new bud eventually closes over itself and then more new buds repeat this evolutionary process. Biological embryos mature and create new embryos. Early stages of growth fade and vanish into the past. Childhoods are not remembered well. Buds are always mutating. The phylic tree of life always has an over-lapping design for prolonged and accelerated evolution.
Evolution must somehow be directed. It has a precise orientation and priviledged axis. Each new species usually has a more complex life. Modern science which is too scattered and compartmentalized doesn't understand this yet. Some evolutionary leaps on the phylic tree of life certainly become dead-ends. Spinal species with complex nervous systems had a critical pathway towards higher kinds of sentiency. Harvest and Forty Immutable Parables thus follow Teilhard's trajectory of complexity/consciousness to unheard of levels. The Forty Immutable Parables Calcutta chapter is a heavy Teilhardian work that goes beyond Teilhard. It deals even more deeply with psychic evolution and its dynamics beyond the current evolutionary state we're in....
The bold call for a conscious universe get's a miraculous hearing with Teilhard. In artistic terms Harvest of Gems and Forty Immutable Parables are both indeed literary mutations. These works are a cross between Kerouac, Castaneda, Salinger and Joyce. With Gurdieff, Teilhard, Toffler, and Mcluhan echoes thrown in, too. There are also cinematic influences from Kubrick, Eisenstein, Godard, and Lynch. These cinematic influences spice up a verbal work of more and more increasing prose/verse complexity. My work often reaches such complexity that it begins to have an echo of a more complex form of consciousness.
The first and second avante garde waves in writing and art were critical bi-furcation points in global cultural history. The buds from this latest literary sprouting are also nowhere close to maturing. In cultural history a recycling is always evident as new artistic sprouts have echoes and resonances of much older ones. There is a deep layering process which is well documented in the Ajanta chapter of Forty Immutable Parables.
In the first mock interview sent to the team Harvest got a McLuhan/Teilhard spin. By the second mock interview, the Teilhard spin got much more mature. You could say, the Harvest press release was just a Teilhard sound-bite.
Matter/mind seems to be always forming CONSTANTLY all over the universe. geo-genesis has led to bio-genesis and psycho-genesis is now leading to noo-genesis. All morphologies reach a critical bi-furcation point. Species with a more complex psychic life usually win out.
Indeed it was the very birth of complex thought that radically accelerated evolution here on planet earth. Mind reflection was the key. It was the power of the human mind to ultimately turn in on itself that made this big difference.Like a powerful cross-mirroring process or a series of movies within movies humans took on this new process with really powerful effects. Art itself became a supreme kind of reflective process and bold marker of human evolution. You see, this seeing of one's own psychic paces generated a kind of FLASH that ultimately raised the human reflection vessel to a higher psychic level. Seeing the bigger life movie lets one jump into a bigger one. It's an infinite process and a psychic resource of last resort.
9/11 was a gift. it was the jolt that allowed the transition from one smaller mind movie to an even bigger one. Most people missed the point. They saw only an intensification of their smaller personal movies. A few people however caught a temporary glimpse of the bigger movie that was now suddenly emerging into full view. Inner life was creating a new and bigger center as it exploded into itself. We are still too caught up in the new 9/11 movie to see the bigger movie it's embedded in. That's how bigger mind worlds are born. Harvest and 2-ss are bigger and more powerful mind movies that force the reader to jump out of whatever smaller mind movie the reader is stuck in. Harvest and Forty Immutable Parables are both sci-fi and mind-fi adventures.
Psychic mirroring allows for the multiplication of cultural inventions and a system of psychic internal constructions. It's a regressive and infinite process. Mind movies that get bigger and bigger allow for more psychic freedom. The THRESHOLD of reflection was a critical evolutionary bifurcation point. It was indeed a MAJOR evolutionary cross-roads.
You see, different instincts come from different kinds of minds. More psychic heat generates more focus. More psychic focus generates more flip. More psychic flip generates a new mind leap. Tantra works a lot like that. New leaps release new information into the psychic environment. This information then needs to be coded and framed for the next mind heat and release. Add prayer and puja to the mindbody expansion and you then have a psychic and spiritual revolution. Consciousness BOILS OVER and LEAPS in its hot super-sensory enviornment. One could say that evolution is a kind of Teilhardian brain-storming. A tantric process par excellence....
It's just the hatching of the mind into bigger and bigger mind spaces in an upward spiral with necessary pauses. Multiple conditions over time generate the critical hatching. It's a powerful incubation process. Since my departure from Stockton last year I have been in some kind of constant incubation both on the central coast of California and in the Bay area . In Stockton the English paper-backs and the foreign translations were hatched after two years of incubation. What will be hatched now? Hopefully more English publications and also foreign publications along with the necessary financing to bring this all to quick fruition. This current incubation process has gone on longer than intended to everyone's deepening FRUSTRATION. OOPS!
Grains of matter, life, and mind are like quantum stuff that generate all earthly evolution. These grains of mind/matter then form into embryos that hatch and they all need some kind of incubation process. The long drive from animal instinct to relective thought has been fraught with drama. Mechanistic and repetitive animal behavior to synergistic and unpredictable human thought. New principles and activities have errupted as mind-matter building blocks have gotten more complex in their assembly. That's how evolution works.
In 1998 in India, I wrote the sketch for an animated history of religion with Disney and Teilhardian echoes. Just as Alexander Nevsky was produced under Stalin. So too could this Teilhardian cum Fantasia movie be produced under the Disney dictatorship....9/11 was the birth pang of a new global mind. The global embryo is still not finished with its development.
Mind groups are composed of individual minds reflecting the same light, but at different angles. In a groping kind of way. Undeveloped group minds and their component reflective cells are not fully sensitive to the presignals of something greater than themselves moving forward both WITHIN and WITHOUT from themselves. Are you hearing me team?
A crisis in reflection ALWAYS leads to the next psychic leaps. Reflection is an infinite mirroring process. Movies leading to bigger movies leading to even bigger movies. Psycho-genesis has led to man and other stellar races and psychic species. None of these local psychic evolutions would be possible without an external mind guiding this process. OOPS! I'm fusing religion with science....psychic evolution on earth has led to humans.. Now humans in a collective mode will lead to noo-genesis. A psychic layer of collective thought that's living and growing and covering the entire planet. This noospheric layer of psychic skin is now closing in upon itself and encircling the planet.
Human reflection provides a freedom of psychic choice that allows foresight and planning for constructive action. No shooting of seperate evolutionary branches occured in the cradles of civilization. Instead a curious clustering occured. Atlantean civilization was the first bud. Civilizations on Mars and the moon were possibly earlier buds. Historically recorded civilizations. The kind we learn about in high school were much later buds. OOPS did I say something to challenge the academic establishment? Silly me!
All is simply related to all in a hidden unity that exists regardless of complexity in both space and time. it's a process in constant FLUX. Spacetime is emeshed in MIND....earth is like a giant molecule now closed in upon itself. Meditation is an accelerated mirroring process. Can the emerging global mind meditate aswell? I hope so. My books are just noospheric accelerators. Forty Immutable Parables deals with past noospheres and this gives perspective to the current noosphere process that's developing and chronicled in Harvest. We are living in an era of thought as agricultural and industrial life becomes fully automated. More daily life is spent in digital and psychic kinds of exchange. A superior form of existence awaits us beyond survival. This is an ALL or NOTHING process. There's no half-way house here. Sorry! You need to keep moving upwards and forward.
Now the existence of the human mind was simply evolution becoming conscious of itself. Evolution was just beginning to reflect on itself. but the individual mind when stretched needs time to adjust. Anxiety goes hand in hand with mirroring and reflection. Disorientation is rife. Especially when it becomes socialized. Hello, Osama bin-Laden....hello George Bush....for me Buddhism was simply a portal to Atlantean and E.T. civilizations and the search for a bigger cosmic synthesis. Tan pis Suzzane. Teilhards's homo-centric views simply don't work beyond earth. But his noospheric ideas certainly do. There have been past noospheres on earth and other planets. OOPS! I did again!
Isolation is a blind alley for both individuals and groups. The noosphere is a really big super organism. That WILL NOT mechanize us nor submerge us. So don't worry! You see with its super mirroring power it just raises us to a higher awareness of our own personalities. It's so cool! You see,any E.T. influence on the earth's noosphere will amplify this process of hyper-personalization. A limited earth surface and a big population density always creates a build-up of psychic pressure as individual minds become more and more stimulated by mutual psychic infiltration and proximity. This psychic density creates a super consciousness. The idea of a psychic pressure cooker is good for our discussion.
The human phylum kept spreading without breaking up into a different subspecies and eventual stagnation. Like a giant leaf the human species just remains joined in this common tissue. Humankind has stretched into a single organized membrane over the entire surface of the planet without breaking it! awesome! As the human phylum concentrates in upon itself it generates new spiritual energies and new growth where humans are irresistably drawn to one another. So reflective thought has given the earth a powerful new binding force. Cool! A process with cosmic roots. A final unification. A collective human organism forming a psychic skin of planetary dimensions. A living unity of one single tissue. A mega-synthesis. All just must grow together. All must unite and find completion in a big spiritual renewal of the earth. Humankind as a single unanimous reflection. A super aggregations of minds. Wee!
The psychic shocks the translation team got from Quebec, Holland, Russia, Japan, and Brazil were part of the team's group mind waking up even as most of the shock instigators were " lost " to the mind group. Uh....
Intellectual discovery and synthesis are always a creation stimulated by a problem requiring a solution. The need for more power to increase action and being. Pre-life to life to life creating neo-life. It's about mastering the ultimate energy. It's about more diversity, unity, and energy for more complex systems on ever higher levels. Yes, it's chaordic principles on parade.
Humans are like scattered vessels of reflective thought. Different human functions are always useless in isolation. They create a powerful synergy ONLY when coming together and becoming something greater than themselves. Thinking units that see things from different angles are capable of self-organizing. Hence the rich diversity amid the unity. Modern humans do not know how to handle this new psychic potential that they have unleashed. It's a burden humans groan under. A wealth that is still barely utilized. Yet this psychic bounty cannot be pushed back into the bottle. Good!
Frontier adjustments and leisurely distractions are irrelevancies in a world increasingly without borders and a global civilization based on an emerging global mind rich with psychic potential. As psychic collisions increase old habits must go so that new material, psychic, and spiritual forces can be positively harnessed on a global scale. Multinational corporations and global terrorists are offering solutions that are false. These groups are offering an artifical form of unification not unlike past Fascist and Communist movements. This is Black and White stress on parade. Standardization and totalitarianism are a misuse of the planet's psychic wealth. It's black stress reacting to the growing pains of the earth's impending psychic unity. The white stress that accompanies any increase in diversity. Thinking human vessels with the power to mirror and reflect GO BEYOND birth, death, and re-production. Reflection allows for assimilation and transformation of all experience in the direction of intelligent meaning and moral value.
As modern pressures draw us closer together. Hostility, blindness, and fear are all on the rise. So all " black hat " attempts at unification through force will lead only to a superfical unity. A new wave of low-chakra materialism will replace any deeper form of high-chakra unity. No fundamental synthesis or growth will arise. No evolutionary leap will occur because " black hat " solutions materialize rather than spiritualize. A dead crystal replaces a living cell. Uh....
Psychic unity is staring us in the face. The earth from space is our new icon. it's invisible mind skin needs to be further exposed and also explored. That's what Harvest and Forty Immutable Parables attempt to do. The kalachakra mandala and blue earth marble fusing as one single entity on the front and back covers of the Harvest paperback. The earth's noosphere is a series of psychic layers filled with morphic resonance. Corporate globalization and global terrorism are low-chakra phenomena. The noosphere is an arena for this low and high chakra drama. Forty Immutable Parables is pushing beyond the planet in order to glimpse past and future kinds of psychic unity on the planet. It's a given that's already seen as accomplished. It is the pushing of the Teilhardian vision to the next logical level. Buddhism and systems thinking created the concept of Black and White stress. Now Black and white stress is fusing with Teilhardian ideas.
Whew! Darwin to Teilhard. What a journey! low to high chakra evolution. pre-life to life to reflection to hyper-reflection. My psychic and global travels and reflections have allowed me to really appreciate Teilhard's vision. Teilhard's concepts applied to the limited and faulty data of his time have still not prevented me from applying these poweful concepts to Atlantean and UFO civilizations. OOPS! did I step on some sensitive issues....
Our collective future is dependent on us over-coming the forces of isolation and repulsion that tend to drive us apart. Global unity must come from a force of attraction stronger than the forces of surface repulsion. Courage and resourcefullness are sorely needed. Any unity must come from unanimity, not compulsion. Simple reflective thought must extend to a more complex form of reflective thought. A sort of hyper-reflection. layers of evolution are converging to a point where they are fusing and becoming completely consumed within this evolutionary pivot point. Our bodies are simply conversion mechanisms for transforming matter into spirit.
All control freaks thrive on division. A billion Chinese, A billion Indians, A billion Muslims, a billion Christians are all a rich psychic resource. These billions of minds along with other minds are converging into a global mind of h-bomb proportions. How can the Israelis and Palestinians pool their 12 million minds into a bigger mind that is richer than their seperate minds? Think about this....
Humans by consuming matter convert its consciousness by generating more reflective thought which is then added to the growing noosphere and ultimately OMEGA. Omega is God, the mind Ocean, divine intelligence. Pick your favorite metaphor! Through the process of noogenesis we experience the birth of a single psychic center from all the convergent rays of billions of individual centers of reflective thought spread over the the surface of the thinking earth. So each thinking center contributes to an original center where the entire universe reflects upon itself. Each thinking center contributes and exists by continually abandoning itself to other thinking centers and to the big supreme thinking center every single moment. Only then is there a high peak of personality achieved. It's the convergence of a conscious universe which happens when it reassembles within itself. The nearer a consciousness get's to other consciousnesses the more and more it discovers its true identity.
ALL UNION DIFFERENTIATES
From cells in a body to members of a society. To elements of any spiritual synthesis. Paradox merges its powerful head. The more convergence of minds there is the greater their individualization and divinization increases....
