This heart
Like a red rose
That opens up,
Completely
Receive and breathe
This fragrant air, and
Bathe in the warmth of
This tearful sun, but
When this
Heart breathes
In deeply,
I know
This heart, becomes
This rose

Sad roses
For my interpretation...

...my heart is "this rose"...

however...my rose has wilted.

Rose
June is the month for roses and I brought some in today from the garden beauty and fragrance...when I do that, I remember Blake: 'Oh rose though art sick'. Your lines remind me of the same, the fragility of that beauty...the fragility of the heart.

I love the lines
'Receive and breath
This fragrant air,'

Very evocative, lovely! Thanks.
