Have you ever had a dream so real, you contemplated the reality you though you lived in? If this is making you non-existing brain hurt, then spare yourself and don’t read on. If the most in-depth you ever got into the reason why we are hear never got passed ‘Dude……football….’ you might just want to go out on a date with you beach blonde, playboy bunny wanna be and try to read the McDonalds™ menu with out pointing at the pictures. Now, if you are an overly religious guru on god and everything holy, I wrote this just for you. Anyway, back to the dream.
It was life being thrown into a bad rerun of Star Trek, but instead of aliens there were demons. Anything from werewolves to vampire, to shadow demons, and elementest the eye could see nothing but demons for miles, with a few fallen angels thrown in the mix. Dark and rainy, the outline of what was going on was only shown as lightning flashed though the sky. I saw in the distance light illuminating the horizon, though I couldn’t see -who or what- it was. Just then everything froze and rewound. My eyes snapped open.
My eyes shifted around gauging what was going on. I looked to my left and right to find Lash and Sin at my side, then, looking up, I saw my father finishing his reading of the bible. He was speaking of revelations, wearing his navy blue, his chocolate brow hair combed neatly. It made me gag. I pictured myself next to him. I was unusually pale, like glow in the dark white, and he was nicely tanned; I dyed my chocolate brown hair, so my waist length hair was black with electric blue streaks, and blood red tips. His green eyes and my changing eye color. And lastly my black fitted wardrobe compared to his nice suits. Oh, and he was a priest, a Christian pries to be exact.
Lash was also asleep; her black emo cut hair shined in the dim lights of the church. I shook her awake, her brown eyes looking at me trying to figure out where she was.
“Come on, it’s over. I want to leave before my father asks me stay.” I whispered to the two as everyone stood, making small talk with each other. Sin and Lash both nodded and we creped out the back door. It was a Wednesday night, cool and crisp. It was a new moon, and we almost blended in with the night. Lash brushed off her black dress covered with lace and sighed.
“I’m hungry.” Her voice was soft and barely audible. Sin nodded, being the big talked her was and we started walked to the nearest restaurant there was. The chain on Sin’s black Trip™ pants was the only sound down the dark alleyway. I could feel something was off, something not right and Sin realized it.
“What is it?” His voice was deep and to most terrifying, but not to me it was soft and warming.
"I just feel like something is not right, like something is not as it should be." I brushed my finger tips against Sin's hand, giving him the memory of my dream, then he touched Lash transferring it to her.
"I had this same dream in the church, and your father was talking about revelations..." I saw where Lash was getting at, but if you haven't noticed, I'm not that religious. I mean...I totally reject all of it.
"I think it means we have been watching way to many horror movies and actually listening to my father.” And just as I said that all hell broke loose. Literally. I could see warrior angels flying at me, with demons surrounding the angels. I stood there horrified. The ground cracked open, fire spewing from the ground. I felt Sin grab my shoulder and shake me. I blinked and it was all gone. I looked up at Sin, my mouth open and my eyes big.
"What the hell is wrong!? You were screaming bloody murder!" Sin's eyes were scanning my face over, while, I'm sure, Lash was looking at my aura, trying to find clues to what was going on through my head. I just stared at Sin, completely dumbfound to how he could not find that freaky. His hand slipped from my shoulder and held my risk, receiving the memory of what I saw then put his fingers on Lash's neck, giving her the memories as well. They just stared at me. The rest of the night was silent. We ate then went to our own homes.
