So many nights have passed away
In which you soothed my heart
And eased my heart, nothing could seem wrong.
By those nights we were a part
That never could have rusted;
The wind was calm, the trees were dull,
Nothing could be busted-
A stronger bond existed null.
T'was then and there a storm outbroke,
The winds picked up with eager seas
And carried you by stroke
Too far away with an ease.
Now I weep with timeless rain,
All too close to immortal pain.
