Fading star,
I can see you falling away from me
-yet even from this distance your beauty is apparent.

Fading star,
Your voice has left its mark on my soul
-even though your words are distorted, they are quite beautiful ones.

Stars are born, and stars, they die
You are fading, I can't deny
for denial has proved a rabid whore
slowly, we drift apart
amongst the endless stars

Fading star,
Our unblical wounds have healed
but what remains are scars revealed,
impaling the tender flesh of what I used to call my heart

Fading star,
The more I know you, the more I love who you are
-and I reach out towards you,
even though you are very far

------
If it can be destroyed, it SHOULD be.
