We have been in a major crash for the past week and a half. This is my second attempt at posting. all seems to be working now. Yesterday I validated some pieces when I thought the site was up-they have yet to appear on the front page- hopefully they will appear shortly. It's the may 6th batch.

It all started with server problems on here and writing forums. The Site owner decided to change servers. It worked out good for writing forums but was a disaster for Lit. This custom program written by chrispian gave the coders a lot of problems. They figured out the problem yesterday and are continuing to get things back on line.

Let's hope the bugs are all fixed so that we can get back to reading-writing and commenting.

I have another post saying similar things but it's still stuck between pages.

Bob is the glue...
As I already said to Bob in his last announcement about Lit.Org being back and running...he is the glue that keeps this place running when all hell breaks loose and falls apart. I hope the glitches are finally worked out. Thanks for always coming through and never giving up on this old site.

Glad the site is up again. Have been checking in and was beginning to think I'd jinxed this site like I have most of my previous employers. Think two out of three of my former employers no longer exist. Oh, woe is me...

I hate thinking that I was better off posting elsewhere. Tried it and only found people who think they know more about my writing than I do. For better or worse, think I'm staying here.

Hope that's ok.

ALMOST FULLY FUNCTIONAL
Lit's validated posts will be back on the front page hopefully soon. I talked to the site owner and he says his coder will get everything running shortly. Everything works accept for the new posts showing on the front page. I'm holding off validation any else new until that function is corrected.

I happy things are back cooking -this was the worst of the crashes yet. But with the change of servers things are much faster. Lit's an old horse with new legs.

I'm glad that this site still lives- It may be old but it still has chops...

Front page works- all function are fully operational. The nightmare crash has ended.

Sorry still not coming up on front page yet- did a few 1/2 hr ago did not show-will report it to cder- still a little bug that's screwing with the valadation.

BUGS
Tammy and all

Things will be loopy for a while. Major coding isssues. The coder has to rewite half the code of the old program. He tried to bypass that but the bugs creep back in.

I can log in and all those functions seem to be working for me but not all members. It may be a few days before all the code to be rewritten. It's a massive job which the coder tried to avoid but it seems that he has to go the long route to get lit back and running in tip top form.

Please have patience.

SECOND PAGE
For now look to the second page for validated work. Hit the -more stories- more poetry tag. That is the only way to access new work for now. I just validated 15 or do pieces- it' not on the front page so you need to access it manually for now. (until it's corrected)
