So I saw the beast.
A woman Las Vegas.
Riding upon Hollywood.
The mountains of GOLDEN WEALTHS
A scarlet colored beast.
Full of blasphemy and abominations.
The woman a whore sell her wares.
DRUNK with wine and lusts.
FORNICATION and ABOMINATIONS to the world.
Her buyers, the seduced of the world.
Great Mother HARLOT - MYSTERY BABYLON.
Corrupting the world with her wares.

Appreciation
Can't honestly say I know the Bible well, but this seems to be a modern conversion of "Rev. 17."

If I am correct in my interpretation then I agree...
that what applied to then also applies today.

If I am incorrect in my understanding then I just made a statement not relating to your piece but true none the less.

I sometimes feel shamed that I do not know the Bible especially growing up in a baptist faith family. However, if you knew my family then you would understand my conflict with what they claim is "God's way." I have never been influenced by their opinions, (other than the physical harm they caused me), my spiritual interpretation of God is a more loving, gentle, compassionate, understanding God than theirs. After all aren't those a few of the qualities of God?

I have tried to read the Bible but....to be honest...it hurts my head. Not from lack of willingness to learn but from lack of ability to understand the language of that time. And believe me I have given it an honest try more than once.

I figure as long as God knows what's in my heart and I make claim to my belief in Him/Her then to the world then me and God "is" cool. (ha,ha)

Thank you for your ability to see the scripture in a modern form. There are many in the world who have an easier time relating when put in this form.

And again...if I'm wrong....as embarrassing as it may be...it's not the first time and most certianly won't be the last.

Oh, (sorry to keep on but...), I need to say that not all of my family are "Twelve O'clock Christians" But many are.

I was sitting in church reading when I saw this. GOD does open eyes of people to scripture. The Bible is the laws of GOD set forth by the prophets and scribes. Inspired by GOD. One must seek GOD and GOD will find the seeker. The Bible is like a path in life, through the woods. Setting forth GOOD & Evil which gives us a map to follow in life.
