MSG
But I'd only be hungry again in an hour or two.

Did you read the other Tibet poem on here? I like the point PeteySweetey made in response to my comment. In my one-track-mind-way of thinking, I hadn't thought of it the way he did.

Thought you said you were suffering from writer's block?

Know what this reminds me of? The scene in "LOTR: The Two Towers" where Gollum is singing about rabbit stew.

Funny with a touch of pathos.

noodle soup
watched the Olympic Torch relay debacle on the TV… confirmed my dislike and contempt for at least three groups of people…

gotta love the insipid responses of the sports people and tv personalities involved, said Konnie Huq, who was carrying the torch : “I believe in the Olympic values, the Olympic ideals... it's just unfortunate that China has such a terrible track record when it comes to human rights and they are the host nation.” … unfortunate?! … un-f**king-fortunate!? ... of all the crass understatements in all the world…

people are shit…

but the Chinese on the corner serves great noodle soup, with tofu and sea vegetables… and… ummmm… now I’m angry and hungry, thanks a lot!

did you ever hear Monty Python’s “I like Chinese” song …?

Blame the Chinaman

Rule Britana...

Who shall we kill next
To put us on top
Chose ones we can win
Without having to stop
Ones most people hate
So then we will please..
I know….kill the Tibetans
It will please the Chinese
This could rid us of debt
Long wars past and gone
With underpaid Gurkhas
Who joined in for fun?
Then carry our colours
Showing off all our fame
Round the Beijing Arena
At the World Olympic Game

Eric
