Now is the time for sleep,
yet I can't close my eyes!
Even total darkness cannot hypnotize
my mind outside of reality...
Now is not the time to be awake,
for I cannot be drowsy at daybreak!
Tomorrow brings a new barrage of tasks;
therefore, my energy must last!
Tonight I am an insomniac;
how much somnolence can I possibly lack?
The night is placid and black,
