You live within my heart mind soul
Ever young and beautiful
Time has no place here where we embrace
Eternally in selfless loving
As one IandYou
Happily knowing and seeing deeply
Into each other where
Our wishes blaze
Like a bonfire of hope
So bright and warm and lively
Angels circle around
Knowing the feel of a joy divine
We welcome their happy company
For we are dancing cheek to cheek
And the more there are surrounding us
In this music called love
The closer we are caused to be
Thank God
Oh yes yes we move our faces so slightly
Just to kiss
And then just part a bit to look
So deeply into each other’s eyes
That we find that we are one.

never
been a huge fan of love poetry of this kind. it's honest and earnest and full of emotion, but the reader, who is excluded from this- particularly if they're a jaded old fart like I am- doesn't quite feel it, I don't think, and poetry shouldn't be a spectator's sport...

having said that, I found this one worth the read. for why? "Our wishes blaze" that is a gorgeously winning description of passionate in-loveness. thanks for sharing that with us all. best to you.

time has no place here
...time has no place here where we embrace...if you love enough that time disappears-then that's the real thing! Sounds like you are totally captivated with the object of this piece. I hope she/he is aware how lucky they are.

Very nice,
Tammy
