When I lived in Wantage , down Pyramid way,

I remember when a Drag Queen came to stay,

His lips were rosy red, his long hair bright green,

I'm talking about Cha Cha Mister Alfie Dean.

He worked hard each day and strutted his fun stuff,

Until one fine day he said: “Heck! Stop! That's enough!”

Now he took to the hills to find him a Honey,

Now all the girls he found were loaded with money,

So Dean wooed them by day, also by candle light .

Did I say he used songs to give them a fright?

Until he found somebody he thought was Hot! Hot!

But it was a man, with a gun, who was Not! Not!

The end
