There is a moment
Fixed within my mind
Between a smile and a footstep,
We were frozen, eye to eye
In that instnat, I could touch your soul!
A single sparkling second...
You were so vibrant, full of life!

Bee; drawn from the petaled flower,
Back to the sweetened comb,
Such is the abstraction
Drawing me to you.

And as the nameless faces call out to you,
In vain for your affection,
It is my hand that you hold,
My face you smile upon...
For they lack our peculiar abstraction
That realises our bond.
In the end you see,
You've the best girl in me,
And I've the best boi in you.

alas
alas this person for whom i wrote this, is no longer a friend, but i have many others that it would be very appropriate for, and on realising that, i'm thinking that perhaps i wrote it less for this person in particular, and more for those of a similar situation that i care for. If that makes sense...

In any case, thank you, and much appreciated, I hope you like whatever else you choose to read ^_^

This is really weird
Not the poem, I hasten to add. But, after reading your Looking Glass poem, I wanted to see more of your work. Penelope had the same idea, she and I have often visited each other's posts and now we're watching the same poet!
This is a gorgeous poem, wall to wall love and I'm sorry that you are no longer friends with Daniel.
Keep writing, please.
Paul
