Sitting here
amidst insipid chatter
& copulating aromas
I watch strange living forms- urbane professors,
joggers, college kids, gawkers
I feel as regurgitated as my friends' feelings
about the President and her little group of shysters
Here sitting
on a frayed beige contraption
at Tedium cafe
my ideas and wants
expire as quickly as vapors...

expire as quickly as vapors..." I enjoy these miniature portraits, like diaries in poetic form, sketches that capture the mood and moment at a specific place and time. an enviable skill that... I know this feeling too, of restless dissatisfaction, you distil it perfectly.
