Decisions, Decisions

Hell! What do I have to lose?
Shall I go to the cozy dark place
and enjoy the gentle
humming of the motor?
Or maybe watch a billow of crimson
fading to a watermelon juice color.

Who would have thought that 13
teensy white tablets could do such
A competent job?
Itís too bad the number 13 has always
had a bad rap, right?
It really does the job it was not intended to do.

Then thereís my support group.
All kinds of great ideas and
choices from which to select.
One idea is to recycle a plastic bag
and take your medicine like a
Man. HemlockÖ.since itís natural
It must be good right?

?!?
This poem did more to wake me up than my multiple coffees have, but it's scaring me. I don't really know if morbidity is so poetic as sadly strong? My friend, I hope everything is okay...?

?!?
Sigh, when I started to write I had a positive idea on my mind. But as you are probably aware, the unconscious comes out when one writes. One friend thought it was "sophomoric". Sorry to scare you though, but those thoughts run thru most people's heads at one time or another. I guess it is because I have lost the most precious thing in my life. But hey, "the sun will come up tomorrow" THanks so much for being concerned.
