My head swirls,
My mind paces,
That fast,
And Steady pace,
Iíve always sworn I need to function.

My heart races,
Perspective sharpens,
Thoughts seem,
So much more tangible,
Now that Iím,
finally here.

It didnít take so long,
Itís just been so long,
And such long periods,
Put a strain on remnants.

I really am sorry,
I turned out to be this way.
This lying,
Ungrateful child,
Who cant even face herself,
Without hiding behind,
Her own golden

Iím a coward, you know.
You just make me believe,
So much different,
Than what I really am.

Still, you accept me.
Still, you embrace me.
Still, you feel as though,
I outshine all the rest.

I know you know the truth.
But why come to terms with it?
When denial can provide,
Such integrity,
And nobility ,
For oneself.
