She said you crushed my dreams
You destroyed my hopes
He said you took my life
You tied the knot, you hung the rope

I gave up
You gave in
She said no
He said you win

She left a note
Here's what he wrote
You left without saying goodbye
Although I'm sure you tried

We laughed, we cried
We loved, we lied
We lived, we died

And they say, we will, live on
Long after we're gone
We will, live on

Now I gave up
You gave in
It's too late for us
It ends

It's too bad
Too late
Too sad
It's fate

I gave up
You gave in
She said no
He said you win

She left a note
Here's what he wrote
You left without saying goodbye
Although I'm sure you tried

We laughed, we cried
We loved, we lied
We lived, we died

He said, she said
There were some great lines in this.

My favorite; You tied the knot, you hung the rope.

The only thing that throws me off is the shift from he/she to you/me.

I think this would read easier if you stuck with one or the other.
