Emptiness in these eternal eyes
Humming along with this tune
Darkness devours desires
In these eternal eyes the sun is set by noon

Drinking away the memories held within their thoughts
Bottle after bottle for all the hurt they fought
In these clouds tonight the darkest of storms
In these eternal eyes tonight they are torn

A song of sweet surrender
With a tear drop on the ground
A touch that's so tender
Helplessly they will drown

Lightening flashes through the window
The walls begin to glow
Thunder trembles through the hollow wood
As their hearts begin to slow

In these clouds tonight the darkest of storms
In these eternal eyes tonight they are torn
Humming along with this tune
In these eternal eyes the sun is set by noon

A song of sweet surrender
With a tear drop on the ground
A touch that's so tender
Helplessly they will drown

One shot, two shots, three
Starring at the bottle
Tonight it's only you and me
