i have long been thirsty for
stories of you and i.
they are everywhere
without our names.
this tale
that settles in between us;
it is an old truth
of how a beautiful boy
met a beautiful girl
and they made for each other
warm arms to fall into.
there is no putting the book down,
baby, everyone has read us.
we are the ones
who close our eyes
to savor passages,
and turn slow pages,
lest we race to the end
i have long been thirsty for.

smart, eloquent, friendly: the voice of your next project.

hi! thanks for taking a look at my site. our station plays rock 'n roll. it's a lot of fun. i hadn't thought of my poem from your perspective, but i like that it gives me another one to see, besides the one i had (which i'd rather not share, 'cause i am hoping to gain from others's perspectives on these.)

i very much like your idea of Grace in place of any race.. i will keep that close to my heart. thanks for reading yet another one, and for your insightful, and motivational, comments.
