Bienvenue, bienvenue
A different day will come with the passing of this moon
Bienvenue, bienvenue
I'll say hello to many things new
Bienvenue, bienvenue
I still hope for some déjà vu
Bienvenue, bienvenue
Sometimes it's hard to believe that it's true

Most things change,
but will myself stay the same?
There is so much that I don't know,
yet for some reason I am not afraid to go
A voice tells me 'Bienvenue',
so I must not be alone

Bienvenue, bienvenue
Often I wish I knew
where I'm headed to
Bienvenue, bienvenue
I hope I'm being led to you
Bienvenue, bienvenue
I hope for déjà vu

Most things change,
but will you stay the same?
There is so much you don't know;
I hope you're not afraid to go
I'll say 'Bienvenue';
Hopefully you'll realize that you're not alone

Bienvenue, bienvenue
This is the chance for our dreams to come true

Life surprises you! And I'm talking about the good stuff, because a bad surprise is not a surprise at all, it is just shock and horror. All of these good surprises, they are rewards, and the things that happen to remind you that you matter and that you should make yourself faithful so that you can be deserving of all of life's good surprises. Every wonderful surprise in life is a chance to flourish, so grab life by the horns-but don't ride, steer instead: life's horns are life's joystick. You can handle it, because your life's horns are made especially for you. If you don't give up, all of this will hold true and life will continue to surprise you.

Be yourself: even actors cannot truly become their characters.

Reality is stranger than fiction. I make fiction strange like reality as I try to make sense of my reality.

Full Circle
Hiya

I need some one to explain this to me.

I think...you are saying you know stuff will change but when they do... you would like to have been there done that before... err which is repetition not change...??

It's lost me...along with that large block of repetition under some if not all of your posts.

Explanation for Fairplay
When I say that I hope for déjà vu in this song, I mean that I hope that I can relate to the change that comes upon me, instead of it being all lost on me. It also has to do with memories coming back to real life, which I have experienced multiple times.

As for the repetition of words and phrases, it creates the chorus of the song. (Note that this is posted under the lyrics category). Repetition in poetry can also be highly effective in imprinting a particular point into someone's mind; the technique is called 'parallelism'.

Anyway, all of y'all are free to PM me with any questions about any of my posts.

Seen it before
Hiya

Thanks for you time explaining your version of déjà vu ...... I think I have heard that type of explanation before somewhere.

Thanks for your invitation to pm you .... but I dont mind admitting in public that sometimes I get a little confused with the meaning of stuff.

Most Things Change.
I think I understand your meaning here. Do you have a melody in mind for these lyrics. I am a composer myself (mostly symphonic scores), but I would like to hear your song sung. One suggestion: change the word, "myself" in the second line of the second verse to "I."

surface matters
In reading this, I kept thinking there must be more. There is a penchant for stating the obvious in this lyric but I sense something lurks just under the surface. Not ominous. Perhaps just more than circles within cirlces, and see how pretty I colored in my circles...

Hope this doesn't sound rude. It's just one opinion and whether that opinion is valid is entirely up to you.

Is this a pop song?
