Sky holes
---------

Fleeing a bloody war on a speeding truck, the old woman heard her shabbily dressed little daughter say to her friend as dawn was breaking:" Look at the sky...where have all those white holes come from? Her friend enthusiastically replied: "you really don't know? Those were made by gun shots! Hearing that, the woman cried bitterly and took the two little girls into her arms.


Teeth of the comb
-----------------
The teeth of the comb felt jealous of the class distinction among human beings. Therefore, it strove to get its teeth longer. When it succeeded to do so, it started to snub its friends and treat them very rudely. When the owner of that comb wanted to comb his hair, and finding the comb in that strange shape, he threw it in the dustbin.


The Tail, called the Third World
--------------------------------
The third world grew into an amazingly long tail for the wolf-like first world. The first world was so gratified it began to wag its tail and joyfully beat it against the ground. Soon a big rock fell on the tail and the wolf, writhing with pain, started to affectionately lick.


Pureness
--------

His heart was as pure as a blue lagon, so others can get his fishes easily!!

sorry. can somebody remove this?
for some reason, I cut and pasted the fist sentence of my latest short story instead of the comment I meant to leave for your piece. my apologies, osamaalomar. *hangs head in embarrassment*. what I meant to say was:

of the four pieces the first resonated the most with me, a poignant and powerful glimpse of the human face, and the human cost of conflict. thank your posting these, thought provoking stories.
