The Diamond and the Coal

Two young men, one affluently rich and the other desperately poor, argued about their individual futures. The wealthy man placed a chunk of diamond on the table and braggingly said: " This is my future!" The poor man took out a piece of coal and put it on the table, saying:" This is my future. " Later, the two went their way. After the two men were out of sight, the diamond felt a great yearning to go to its origin, walked up to the coal and clung strongly to it.

Pisa Tower
Pisa tower looked squeamishly around and said: " Hundred of years have passed and everything around me is still tilting. When will this odd situation ends?

The Round Table
A long time ago, world leaders decided to replace the rectangular shape of the tables they used to sit at with a round table so that no leader should feel less important than the others.

Irnoically, since life had been existed on this round globe, discrepancy between people is getting deeper and deeper.

diamonds, towers and tables
the first I liked best because I found it oddly beautiful and suggestive on "oneness"... I liked the following two because they looked at life slatwise, blending insight and absurdity. look forward to reading more by you.

me too
First story gets my preference too. An allegory of essence. A transcendent wisdom.

What might have happened if we had not discovered the earth to be a globe?
