The showers of Rain
A Poem

When the clouds frown,
The lightning flashes,
The sky roars,
The wind turns to
Gentle breeze….
The rain falls down
In gentle showers;
Blooming buds into
Beautiful flowers.
Rain drops dance on
The blades of grass,
The cuckoo sings from
Some distant tree,
I wish I could
Set my soul free,
To fly like a bird,
And touch the
Rainbow in the sky.
I forget everything else,
As the waves of joy
Arise in my heart.
