Had she let go, let Me embrace her
She would not have wasted her tears
by the refrigerator this morning

Had she let Me do My doing
She would not have said
"I feel like all the organs inside my body are
being ruthlessly torn apart by thin ugly hands"

Had she emptied her being that I gave her
and submitted to My power
She would have tasted the beauty
of My mercy

All that I promised her
All that I promised you

You got it :)
The narrator in this poem is God. It's my imagination of what God would say looking at a girl suffering and fighting a lost cause. Asking her to let go. Reminding her that He is the ultimate power. It only takes a prayer to seek for His help to make everything better.
