Effleurage

Enter with me into words
Encircle your hips
With what we trade
In honeysuckle strands

Enter with me into touch
To rectify the matter
Of a person like a turtle
On its back

Yours or mine

Or both

your poems never disappoint. a subtle, sensual, evocative piece, rich in sensation and quiet but powerful emotion.

I read this in the daylight. Now, I'm gonna' have to read it in the dark, under the covers with a flashlight, and hope she soon comes to bed. Sweating now.

I like it!
I am with Charlie on this one, looking for a flashlight too. Enjoyed reading you John. So nice to come around and find words that make you feel.

Thanks Charlie & Nae
Good to hear from you, Charlie & Nae. More rascally poets always welcome and appreciated.

Interesting phrase, Nae- "words that make you feel." That is something to shoot for.

Take care.

titles. Taste. Tori.
while following Nae, I find this, and I must say, elegance and yummy reading all in one.

Also - I notice a poem could be composed using only titles of your works!

Playing in the attic
Thank you, Tori & Teflon, for coming up and commenting. It's a little dusty up here, but you never know what you might find in the attic.

attic ideas
I think you deserve an air conditioned attic, a typewriter, a phone, a fridge with you favorite snacks and drinks, a coffeemaker, and a king-sized bed. Add whatever else i've missed or did not figure out from you works. I want to be rich, so I could support you -
