The best of friends will always be,
brother and sister as all would think.
Though not related by blood,
You have always been the one.

I went into the dark,
afaid, alone and scared,
But you showed me that you would always be there.

I've called you crying may a time,
To the point that no breath could enter my lungs,
You ran down my house and cradled me in your arms.

Yet when stress got to you a different method we used,
rushing to the woods we would go,
where you and I would talk alone.

How do I say goodbye to you,
You say will always be friends,
But somehow I know this is the beginning of an end.
Please just don't forget me when I am gone.

To Matt, My Best Friend (and nothing more to those of you who ar eall romatic, I've got my bf)
