One day on to the next
Everyday itís all the same
I just canít get over it
I need to figure out her name

And when I saw her, my first thoughts were
Does she have a boyfriend?
Will she ever look at me?
What if I say the wrong things?
Will we ever be?

The next time I saw her
She was with her friends
I canít get close to her
Will this nonsense end?

I left her a note in her locker
I didnít want anyone to have her
I donít know if she read it
Will I end up with regret?

And when I saw her, my first thoughts were
Does she have a boyfriend?
Will she ever look at me?
What if I say the wrong things?
Will we ever be?

What does she tell her friends?
Does she even like me?
Will this ever end?
When will she see?

That I am the one and only
There is no one better than me, baby
I need your love and your smile
Or just be with me for a while

You donít know what youíre missing
Who are you kissing?
Will it be me one day?

I need to know youíre name
And then it came
The next thing you say

What a beautiful name
It was such a shame
Not knowing it before, but know I know

When I tried telling you mine
You walked away
And now you show
The things I didnít know

And when I saw her, my first thoughts were
Does she have a boyfriend?
Will she ever look at me?
What if I say the wrong things?
Will we ever be?

And now my thoughts are
I donít even care
I need to get out of here
This girl doesnít deserve to know me.

Iím just another guy
Someday sheíll cry
But not over me

My first thoughts were
But now donít even care
And Iím out of here

My first thoughts were
And know I know her name
Itís just a shame
