Oh how does a Father know his daughter?

He knows her smile. The light in her eyes
For her smile is warm as sunshine
Her eyes are the radiance of her heart

She grows like a flower, which blooms and never fades
Her petals stretch forth and cover the glade

From the time her steps are small and increase in stride
Father does watch her and sings with his pride

How sweet this flower is in her Father\'s eyes
For to him she is a special prize

She grows to nurture the world and catch those who stumble
She notices the small things even the humble

She becomes a woman all grown and bright
To love her children with all her might

But her Father knows as she grows,
a Little Flower†remains, wherever she goes
