As darkness falls a soul cries out
The night is all there is
If she can make it through the night
Her pain won't have been in vain
The long hours spent struggling
The aggravation and the headaches
Constantly surrounded by fools
Always busy with something
A month ago the outcome looked bleak
She would have sworn it would go down in flames
But as the time winds down
A spark of hope is there
And as the curtain is drawn apart
The lights shine on the stage
It's too late for her to worry
For nothing can she change
Two hours go by with little notice
Far better than she thought
And as they all take their bows
A smile brightens her face

But only in their dreams can men be truly free. 'Twas always thus, and always thus 'twill be. - Dead Poets Society
