A spirit so sweet, so innocent
Trapped in a world of hate and violence
No one to share love and joy with
No one can understand
How can such a person survive
In a world so warped by time?
Yet somewhere another must wait
A spirit as sweet and pure as she
For alone the spirits are nothing
They need one another to carry on
And in their ignorance they find
A bliss so complete
It hides the brutal truth of the world
Their love is all they need
These spirits are all around
But so hard they are to find
How lucky I am to be one
And to have one by my side

But only in their dreams can men be truly free. 'Twas always thus, and always thus 'twill be. - Dead Poets Society
