Black cloth, and a blanket of pure white
Behold there are white diamonds and a crescent moon night

My campfire crackles and burns red hot coal
Piercing the darkness, searing straight to my soul

In the wood this night cries a single owl
Sharing its haven with many a fowl

My breath drifts thick on the crisp cold night
Lifting my thoughts over this blanket of pure white

I look again at the twinkle afar
Beholding the light of a billion white stars

How small am I standing here tonight;
bathed in this wonder of Godís Natural Good Night
