Is love really worth it?
The tension, the anxiety,
The heartache, the worry,
The pain, the depression,
The cold, the loneliness.
Is love really worth it?
What of the joy,
The passion, the romance?
Secrets and lives shared,
The understanding, the devotion,
The affection, the care.
Each hug and each kiss
As you whisper "Good night."
When you measure it out,
All the joys, all the sorrows,
Your heart being broken,
And the dreams of tomorrow.
When it comes down to it
Only one question matters:
Is love really worth it?

But only in their dreams can men be truly free. 'Twas always thus, and always thus 'twill be. - Dead Poets Society
