My dear departed friend,

I pray that youre somewhere better, my friend. I pray that youve reached the endless kingdom of heaven. Somewhere where your insecurities and faults have disappeared, where happiness never ceases. You deserve it, my sweet friend. Your time here was far too shortlived. I remember when we would go out, we were unstoppable. Kings of everyplace. Interacting with the world we lived in was one of my favorite things ever. The songs and sounds wed write together were and still are one of the prime experiences of my life. The hopes we had for the infinity of space have now become a shared reality. At night Id know that the conversations we had were genuine, because they would be remembered the next day. For you, my friend, I prayed that you would achieve all you ever wanted, that you would be beyond your current self and go anywhere you wished to be.

These things will be forever with me.

I will miss you, we will miss you. My heart aches knowing Ill never be able to make you smile, or simply share another dream with you in this world. Ill miss the times that we shared together, and I await seeing you in heaven. Everytime I listen to the music you introduced me to I will remember, and I will weep. My only regret is not having spent more time with you, but there will be another, I know this and I live knowing this. Our souls will never truly part, and you will always be with me.

Kevin was a beautiful human being, one this world will be worse off for not knowing. He was intelligent, creative, genuinely freespirited. He saw things in a perfect light, and shared his optimism with those he loved best. He had an impeccable taste for life. I know in the next world he is being welcomed home with open arms, that the angels joyly sing his return. You are my most dearly departed friend. I have been changed by you in ways that cannot be well said in words, but let my tears be my indicator of this loss. Kevin you were one of the best parts of my life, and you will never be forgotten by me or anyone else you touched. I love you.

I am forever grateful.

Your friend,
Christopher A. Todd
