The walls that I put to guard me,

Has suddenly collapse all around me,

Making me feel vulnerable.

I tried so hard to protect myself from the pain.

Some I let go; some remained.

I'm just a human.

I cried tears that could water plants for days,

Because I unexpectedly lost my way,

I thought I had everything planned.

I move one step ahead and then get pushed back again.

The dramas in life are like fake friends.

It's two-faced.

I sit here wondering, "What am I supposed to do?

Do I have the strength to make it through?"

Probably not.

I feel so depressed and I let myself down.

I look in the mirror and see neither smile or frown.

I'm truly sad.

With sadness overcoming me, I see people without a face.

I am in a building or room and feeling out of place.

Sadness hurts.

The walls that I put up to guard me,

Has suddenly collapse all around me,

Making me feel vulnerable.

I will pick myself up and build that wall again,

Because I know that devastation will never end.

It's a part of who we are.
