What does it mean to be a teacher?
Is it a job description?
Is it a position at a school?
Why then, after I have retired do I continue to:
Learn, instruct, question, explain, organize,
Share, offer assistance, analyze, write and rewrite?
Is being a teacher a state of mind?
Is it more than a vocation?
For me it is a preoccupation.

Respected Ma'am
Dear Ms.Millican,

I don't know how I should vent my emotion as you have said so much as a teacher. The words of my hearts have been echoed in it.

Straightway it becomes a cute poem with its quests & answers. What worth a teacher really deserve as you have been imparting us all for a long while!

You are much required, madam, much with your "preoccupation" for this world, always, for good.

Regards,

Myth.
