Life's Sadistic Surgeon, Change

Healthy cynicism comes unhealthy
In one's own head must stand both check and balance
Simple sanity in common parlance
Some time in sunlight may yet make me healthy
If I have toxified my mortal corpus
trepanation cures me of the poison
If healthful anguish stands on my horizon
a skull less dense than this may stand between us
Yet I fear to feel that trepanation
that change my mind but break me on the morrow
If morbid penetration be my sorrow
may my sordid soul survive ablation
The clueless cynic falls in dark confusion
and yet receives a soul's reconstitution

Oh yes -
You're absolutely right. :)

It's interesting to see that my mindset somehow made itself evident in this regard in this particular poem.

it's something underlying...
what's that they say about an anarchist heart being sometime of oasis or thoughts and ideas? i dont remember, but the heart comes through either way.
