If only…*

If only I could bring you back your loss…
I wouldn’t be late

If only I could let the days go back…and you wouldn’t lose anything…
I wouldn’t hesitate

I wish I could give you whatever you wished
So I would guarantee you would be “perfect” and content…
But it seems too late

For you bought something trifle…
And sold something… you didn’t estimate



to an ex-friend: you cheated on me...you were envious , not honest , never considerate , never loyal ,and not kind..and I was naive enough to be stabbed in the back , for I gave you many chances to fix your fatal mistakes , but you didnt.

Sometimes we must be hurt in order to grow..
Sometimes we must fail in order to know..
Sometimes we must lose in order to gain..
Because some lessons in life are best learned through PAIN..!!

Hiba...Good to see you back...I'm afraid that this person never was a friend...in the true sense of the word...I'm sure they will look back on this and realize what a mistake they made by giving up something that could have been a beautiful friendship...Kacee

Thank you for reading my poem kacee...Just publishing the peom and letting everyone share my sorrow will make it easier for me..

for my ex- she never admitted her mistakes...and worst when I used to tell her thst you were wrong , she will accuse me that I misunderstood her!!

I am fed up with her so I gave up on her..but i just recall everything good i did to her and the everything bad she paid me back...

it s like an endless nightmare...actually i have nightmare bout her..

Some people don't realise the worth of true friendship ...she has lost a wonderful and great friend like u.

Haven't been by in a week or so and am very happy I saw this today.

Been there, where your poem goes.

The "bought" and "sold" allusion in your final couplet is particularly arresting. I was just remembering a former friend of mine: she went through our friendship like you go through a clearance sale.

God bless you for giving your friend many chances. This makes you an amazing person!
