I want to eat
you from the inside
out, taste every thought,
both hidden and shared.
Want to feel
your breath as it
sustains the body
that makes my soul speak.
Rise high on a
throne till I call you
down to this realm where
Im enlightened by lips
that carry words like a river of lust.

I am on a journey. Looking for Me. Everyday I get a little closer. The more time goes by the more I realize I'm always changing. This journey could take forever... Renae L. Soler

livers and rivers
yesterday my pickled brain misread the title as "Liver of Rust". Argh, I thought, I'm not reading that. This morning, however, I realised my mistake...

this is a gorgeous poem. I like most that it encompasses all possible elements of a poetic passion: senses, soul and language. 'specially fond of those enlightening lips... Definitely wouldnt mind a dip, but Id be infinitely more likely to get a stone cold dunk in the Bathtub of Ennui instead ;)

Fine stuff. Much enjoyed.

Rver of Lust

Just paying a brief visit in the middle of the night to see what I've been missing. Of course I looked you up and was delighted to see you are still up to your old 'standards'.

I am currently editing and posting my older work on 'piptalk' a site grandma pointed out to me to get a different perspective prior to considering publishing my work.

When I get back into 'production' mode again you may have to suffer my presence a bit more.

Untill then, nice to read you again and all my wishes to my frinds at lit.

Have Fun,

Tori keeps on reading
I remember feeling like this towards the end of my marriage. I did not know what that was, - I knew it was something to do with wonderful experiments of kissing my mentor-like girlfriend, and a fellow prep school student, - it was beyond Sapphic love - it was the start of rediscovering myself, my body and my inspirations. That's when I went from metaphors and abstract concepts to characterizations with images, similes and unbearably nested constructs of adverbs, adjectives and verbs, and - as they say - I built it, and they came.

Nae,- to hope that underneath all that blondness is a raven-haired siren. A magnet with my name on it!

Thank you

Tori and that river
Tori, this poem also came after my separation from my husband of 22 years and a very "distinct" new turn in my life. I believe in the "if you build it, they will come". Life is what we put into it and a lot of what we take out of it.

I am flattered to no end that you are looking into these old things. Made my day!
