Dear Friends,

Hello we how are you and I and they? That's great! So I was sitting here being depressed and crying over my failed marriage and lack of money, when suddenly I came up with the brightest idea that maybe I should get off my ass and get a job, even if it is going to most likely be some degrading job like McDonalds at least I would have some money right? Well I went there and had to wait a freaking hour for my interview and the lady is like we don't like the hours that you put down here, I didn't budge from what I had put down, because I an all mighty college student after all. She says this to me even though they have three signs posted outside saying "NOW HIRING!" and on the door it says "NOW HIRING ALL SHIFTS MANAGERS AND CREW." So they need people, you know people like me. : D

When I first went there to fill out my application, all they had were applications in Spanish, so I had to kind of guess at what it said, that was outrageous, should I now take Spanish courses to work at McDonalds? I signed it at the bottom unknowingly, who knows maybe I just signed my soul away or my employee discount! Ah! Pity.

Right now I am at school wishing that some other job would knock me on the head, maybe like a news reporter job, now that would be worth it, I would even sign their application if it were in Chinese and some Japanese person was translating it in Norwegian, while we ate Indian Food at a Mexican restaurant while listening to Duran Duran. : D

So guys help me find a respectable job that pays more than 5 bucks an hour.

Peace Out,

Love ya all

Do Not Go There
One bit of advice, do not go into the fast-food business, at all. If you are cheerful enough and don't mind working nights and want to work in the food industry then do honest waitressing -- some places pay below minimum wage because they factor in tips. And you're on your feet all the time, and you have be pleasant when you don't feel like it, but I'll be the application is in english.

Or, second choice, real estate sales. The money is better but you have to take some courses and get certified -- probably cost you $500 you don't have, but if your credit is good it might be worth it.

Or, third choice, if you are relatively handy with shovels, hammers, wheel barrows and such, try getting into the construction business -- most will start you at minimum wage, then if you can keep up you'll get raises pretty quickly. Its like the military -- just do what they tell you, do it quickly, and when you're done report back for more. Also, a great way to stay healthy, the days go fast, you feel worn out by end of the week but you feel like you've accomplished something and you'll be too worn out to go out spending a lot of money.

Good luck
