Ravaged thoughts
Within my mind
I sit, I ponder
For I shall consume my fears
Within this bottle
Helps me to unwind

The night grows cold,
but not yet bitter
The flames dancing
Around this open fire
Mirrored images
Glare at thee
As for my time I spend fritter

Unclear as I see not
The bottom of my glass
My mind slowly wilts
My vision weakens
Judgement becomes my enemy
Tears my comfort
As these memories I surpass

As the bottom of the this bottle
Grows near
I sit in a state of denial
Drowned by the sorrow
I've become my worst enemy
Vivid thoughts of what was to pass
Have became a greater fear
