Melissa, youíre the woman I wanted to be.
You are a wonderful wife, mom and step-mom.
You try to keep peace between the families.
There is a spot in your heart for everyone.
You know how to balance your home and job,
Better than most women can only dream of doing.
You take pride in your appearance and manners.
If the angels had asked me what would I wish for
In the girl I was giving birth to 32 years ago,
I wouldnít wished for anyone else but you.
If I donít tell you every day how much I love you,
I am always thinking it.
If I donít always show you how much I love you,
I am always wishing I had.
I have made so many mistakes in my life
That I cannot take back, but one thing I am sure of,
I never made a mistake having you or loving you.
Melissa, you are much more that I deserved
And much more than I ever expected in a daughter.

(WRITTEN & DEDICATED TO: my daughter,

Paula Leslie (PAL)
"Give a little of yourself each day to someone in need and you will be rich in your heart."
