The One Life Is

The One Life is and lives and is us.
Muhammad, Buddha, Me, You and Jesus.
Of the differences of these, we make such a fuss
While, the One Life is and lives and is us.

Through birth we burst through fleshly tear
A closing curtain hides a legacy we bear
That the mother of life, the true beauty fair
Is the One Life that lives in us everywhere.

In truth, as ones, we live in deception
We want for possession, not inner reflection
Defining our lives by endless dissection
We miss the One Life that lives by collection

The Universe, defined, is "Turned Into One"
From the tiny sub-atomic to the grandest sun
So with a great big bang our story had begun
With black holes showing how the telling is done.

You see, particles encounter a nearby friend
So reality says on each other they depend
The gravity of two makes time and space bend
So a life lived together is lived with no end.

The more parts assemble the stronger the ties
And there, at the heart of it, a singularity, wise,
Exposes poses of this and that as lies
Boasting a union only man's mind defies

So consider this vision your priestly attire
And enjoy the warmth of the one true fire
Kindled "ones", together reveal the entire
The One Life forever, our endless desire.

One Life
clever, this, and full of important realisations. I trip over my tongue in places, where I lose the rhythm of the piece; think it lends itself well to lyrics, I can almost hear it sung... "The One Life forever, our endless desire." is an interesting line in that it seems to me most people aren't aware of this desire, that if people are seeking unity they do so on a subconscious level... also interesting in that the poem reveals a unity that has been implicitly present all along, only nobody has realised yet... how true... The root of all suffering is desire, apparently.

Great awareness being expressed here. good stuff.
