Youth is
A cycle.
Of large shrinking things
Perceived as
Giants and monsters
Moving fast
And frightening
When we are still
Small…

But what else is there?

Life is
A journey.
A search of knowledge
To what others
Already learned
And documented
All is longing to be
Discovered…

Will you find what you’re searching?

Self is
Experience.
To shape us
Into someone
Who has already existed
Infinitely and forever
Before…

Who’s your former?

Time is
A value.
Captured in gathered moments
And the number
Of events lost
Eventually forgotten…

Why then do we waste it?

Love is
A place.
Where people go to escape
To be lost then found
And accepted inside

…Be your-self; young, live and love. There’s still time enough to find out what it is…

What it is
A lot of truth in each stanza-
particularly like: "Who’s your former?" (what a great question!) and your concept of time, and

"Why then do we waste it?

Love is
A place.
Where people go to escape
To be lost then found
And accepted inside" - truths here, written-

nice write-

Hey look:
I kind of forgot we had this until today when I was browsing. I'm glad I stumbled upon it. That comfortable familiar feeling that lives in your writing. A good one. Thanks.
