Life, death and all between
it seems all a bad dream,
fleeting from birth
and shunning death
life seems a fool!

When life his joy is keen
it seems the sun is a-beam,
smiling with mirth
counting each breath
life seams a jewel!

When life his joy is keen
Life, death and all between,
it seems the sun is a-beam,
it seems all a bad dream,
smiling with mirth
fleeting from birth
counting each breath
and shunning death
life seems a fool!
life seams a jewel!

Art is addicting, an addict am I,
truth is I, the truth am I, the truth a lie!

and all between
I like the circling, spiralling, snowballing momentum of this poem. dizzying really. For me it seems more like a song, to which a reel should be fiddled in accompaniment... but that might just be me ... indeed there are times when our impression of life is pulled both ways... usually with frantic pace. thanks for the rhythm of this, it rings true.

Brought to Life!
'Counting each breath
and shunning death'
That is life until the very instant we die. Another great Douglas MacArthur return, Siah, just as I would have expected!

Return
Thanks for the comments Aubri and Shannon, but I'm not sure I'm ready for a complete return just yet. I will try to finish some more poetry first, and then you'll get the true return. It's nice to visit the site though...
